This is a website dedicated to motorsport, particularly Formula 1. I spun if off from doctorvee in 2008 having spotted that my motorsport articles attracted a distinct audience to my other writing.
I run this website which highlights the best of Scottish blogging and citizen journalism. I originally set it up in 2006 with a primary (but not exclusive) focus on politics. A weekly roundup is published every Sunday. This website is run with the help of a variety of Scottish bloggers.

Fresh insight... I’m grateful to one of my readers, doctorvee, for posting a very interesting comment here on the JA on F1 site. He highlights an interview which McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh gave to the BBC at the end of the Australian Grand Prix... The significance of this is that the FIA WMSC will seek to analyse the degree to which others in the team were involved.
Excellent blog ...covers all kinds of topics in an engaging and entertaining way.

Always insightful, always thorough, his blog posts read like short Masters essays rather than quickly rustled up blog posts... He takes a topic and then nurtures and lovingly caresses it until it's breathlessly, delightedly begging for mercy.
—Jeff Breslin, SNP Tactical Voting
Duncan's relaxed style belies the rigour and subtlety which underpin each piece.
Not for the first time, I think that a job offer for this man in motorsport journalism is long overdue. His knowledge, going back to days before he was born, is awesome.
vee8 has become a must-read... a format that is ideal as an overview of the sport, including his own thoughts, guest articles, live blogging and the outstanding daily pick of articles from F1 sites and blogs.
